Bimbo is a queer cultural platform that has grown from its Montreal roots into a multi-city event brand spanning Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary. I developed the visual direction across the brand and its events, creating distinct identities and campaigns that brought each theme to life while remaining connected to the larger Bimbo world.
As Bimbo expanded, I developed a flexible visual system that could evolve across 20 different events and themes. Each event was given its own logo variation, colour story, typography, and visual direction, creating a distinct identity while maintaining a recognizable connection to the Bimbo master brand.
Each event's visual identity was developed into a cohesive campaign, translating its theme across posters, social content, video, and motion. I shaped the creative direction and visual language for each campaign, creating a consistent experience across formats while allowing every event to retain its own distinct personality.
As Bimbo's largest event series of the year, the Pride edition called for a significant increase in both the volume and impact of its creative output. I developed the campaign direction, coordinated the photo and video shoots, and created the supporting graphic design, building a rich library of content that elevated the event and created a stronger sense of scale, excitement, and value across the campaign.
